A very fine 36-piece crystal glass service signed (engraving at the base of the glass "Artisanat de Lorraine") comprising 12 water glasses, 12 wine glasses and 12 champagne flutes in perfect condition.

These glasses display a refined design with a bowl engraved with a lattice/diamond motif in the upper section and 12 panels in the lower section. Fine quadrilobed stem.

Glasses engraved 'Artisanat de Lorraine' are considered quality pieces, generally produced by small workshops specialising in crystal work active in the Lorraine region. They date from the mid-20th century, a period when regional craftsmanship was strongly promoted.

Perfect condition.

The jardinière is lined with a fixed zinc liner.

The piece shows wear and patina consistent with age.

An elegant and large antique pressed-glass vase from the Portieux crystalworks (1705-2012), George Sand model, with a turquoise blue bowl and amber base with ram's-head supports. The George Sand model signed Portieux was pressed around 1900. Founded in 1705, the crystalworks worked over the centuries for the most prestigious tables, for Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, the writer George Sand, and the Ritz.

A large patinated plaster bust — Bacchante with bunches of grapes — Signed (Frans...) — Flanders or Belgium — Early 20th century. Striking and expressive, this large patinated plaster bust depicts a Bacchante, a figure associated with the cult of Dionysus/Bacchus, the head tilted and adorned with bunches of grapes. The sculpture captivates with its scale, its movement, the charm of its dreamy face and the rich treatment of volumes typical of late Art Nouveau productions. Acquired in Belgium, this piece bears a barely legible incised signature in which the first name Frans is however clearly identifiable, pointing to a Belgian or Flemish sculptor active around the early 20th century. Fine patina. Circa 1920.

Murano — Pair of 1980s Murano Glass Lamps, Italy

A pair of Italian lamps in blown Murano glass dating from the 1980s and brass. The lamp assembly was carried out at a later date. Each lamp is composed of two identical spheres in smoked gilt Murano glass, mouth-blown in a structured mould, revealing a deep and regular geometric relief. The two elements are separated by a darker-coloured Murano glass disc, which underlines the architecture of the whole. The base and structure are in gilt brass. New electrical assembly.

The subject is treated here with great gentleness and a Romantic sensibility typical of the early decades of the 19th century. The delicate modelling of the face, the subtle palette and the oval format lend this composition an intimate and refined atmosphere. An important antique plaster bust with terracotta patina, depicting Mademoiselle Luzy, the celebrated 18th-century actress and emblematic figure of the Comédie-Française. This model is an edition after the original sculpture by Jean-Jacques Caffieri (1725-1792), the great Neoclassical sculptor known for his busts of great literary, theatrical and intellectual figures such as Voltaire, Diderot and Rousseau. The bust bears the stamp of the City of Versailles, attesting to institutional provenance and an early edition of quality. The execution stands out for the quality of the modelling, the precision of the detail of the coiffure and the elegance of the drapery typical of Neoclassical style. Very good general condition. Moulded signature 'JJ Caffieri' on the base. Stamp: City of Versailles on the reverse. Early 20th century.

An elegant pair of lamps composed of seated Buddha sculptures in meditation, executed in finely moulded gilt cast iron. The figures display rich decoration with stylised floral motifs and retain a fine early patina. Each statue is mounted on a varnished wooden plinth on which rests an adjustable brass rod, supporting a double light, surmounted by a pagoda-shaped lampshade. The shades are original, their fabric having been restored to recover their full brilliance. The whole combines traditional art with contemporary functionality. Probable origin: Thailand. 20th century.

An elegant round guéridon in painted wood resting on a tripod base richly carved with volutes, beads and stylised shells, enhanced with gilt highlights. The central baluster shaft is adorned with gadroons and pearled motifs, in a Baroque and Rocaille spirit revisited in the 19th century. Later patina. The circular top is in painted wood decorated in faux marble in tones of brown and ochre, a sought-after decorative technique that lends the whole refinement and originality. A luminous bowl in dinanderie of copper and brass with a decoration of fish on a marine ground, the interior lacquered white. Wooden disc at the base. The piece is signed within the decoration Lucien Gerfaux, a French artist active in the 20th century who produced decorative objects, notably vases and lamps in dinanderie (repoussé or inlaid metal, often copper or brass) with motifs often animal or naturalistic. Two men and two women are depicted, with coiffures and costumes characteristic of late 18th-century and Directoire fashion. More precious than simple cut silhouettes, these painted effigies render with finesse the details of the faces, hair and fabrics. Each portrait is presented within a brown fillet line and united in a single mount. The whole is preserved in a gilt wood frame adorned with carved friezes and palmettes. Good general condition.
