A very fine beach scene by Yves Wacheux, 20th-century painter, depicting a group of figures on the sand facing the sea, in a gentle and slightly veiled atmosphere. The artist captures a moment of simple and silent life, where adults and children share the space between sea and dunes. The composition is built by broad zones of colour, dominated by blues, beiges and whites, creating a diffuse, almost misty light, evoking an off-season beach or late afternoon.
