Elégant pastel sur papier représentant Léda et le cygne, inspiré du mythe antique dans lequel Zeus prend l'apparence d'un cygne pour séduire Léda. Le sujet est traité ici avec une grande douceur et une sensibilité romantique typique des premières décennies du XIXe siècle. Le modelé délicat du visage, la palette subtile et le format ovale confèrent à cette composition une atmosphère intime et raffinée. Encadrement doré d'époque XIXe siècle avec sa protection arrière en papier bleu.

Console en bois sculpté et laqué, début XIXe siècle circa 1800-1820, France
Elégante console en bois sculpté présentant sa patine ancienne, typique du style Louis XVI, début XIXe siècle (circa 1800-1820) Elle repose sur quatre pieds fuselés et cannelés se terminant par des dés de raccord ornés de fleurettes sculptées. La ceinture présente un décor raffiné de rosaces et de guirlandes ajourées, ainsi qu'un motif central en applique. Le plateau probablement un ajout ancien, en bois peint en imitation marbre noir veiné de brun doré, réalisé au XIXe siècle. Cette marbrure confère à l'ensemble une présence décorative très élégante. Bon état. Patine ancienne.

Kurt Ostervig (Denmark 1912 - 1986), Pair of two-top side tables in teak. 20th century. Can be used as sofa ends, bedside tables, side tables. K. Ostervig began his career as a naval architect before changing direction and working for one of the most renowned furniture manufacturers of the 30s and 40s, E. Knudsen's in Odense. In the 60s, he was one of the first Danish designers to be temporarily exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. A few marks on one of the tables (see photos).
